The Maxim photo keyring is a release from Sherwood Agencies. The unique selling point on this is it’s 1.4 inch screen although here at Photo Keyring Planet we fail to see how this is advantageous? It struggles to keep up with other models for storage capacity and only holds 60 images. We do however like it’s design sensibilities and the two tone exterior doe smake it a striking photo keyring.

Cooltronics Heart Digital Photo Frame

This ‘daughter friendly’ heart shaped digital photo frame fits in every girls bedroom. With it’s 2.3 inch LCD display capable of displaying images at 320 x 240 resolution your digital images packs a punch on any bedside cabinet. There is a trade off for displaying your digital images at such a high resolution which means only 27 images in the 16mb internal memory capacity. It may seem low on capacity but it’s more than enough to display your top 20 digital images. There’s no CD or software install require letting you get straight to where you want with the minimum of fuss!!

Cooltronics Heart Digital Photo Key ring
We’ve featured this model from Cooltronics before but we do think it’s a front runner in the quality stakes if your looking for a heart shaped digital photo keyring. It’s ‘bubble’ like and fun at heart (no pun intended) and comes in a really presentable metal case that shows off the gift at first glance. There are cheaper heart digital key rings out there but we think price states guaranteed satisfaction in this instance. Like most heart digital keyrings the LCD display area seems limited but Cooltronics have offset this with the deep set bezel to pull you into your images. We’re confident there’s not many folks out there who wouldn’t find this a long standing token of love!

Just bought for my sis for Xmas, she LOVES it. Within 10 mins had copied 40 pics across, then you turn on and view – simple.. Obviously the viewing window is small so close ups are better but if it was any bigger you might as well carry an album around.
Easy to install for anyone who knows a bit about computers. The only thing to be aware of is that the installation software couldnt see every file on the PC, so we simply copied the desired pics onto a file it could see, or PC Desktop and then it was really easy. This was easy for me cos I use computers all day, but my sis woudlnt have sussed this out herself, but understood it quickly enough once I showed her
she loves it, small girlie design, robust looking, easy to use, you recharge via a PC USB, great value for money

Bought this for my wife for Valentines day. It looks great and feels great. Best of all, it is very easy to use and it does exactly what it says it does. It comes in a beautiful pink box which is excellent when it’s a gift. The software simply pops-up when the picture frame is plugged into my usb PC and I managed to get 126 digital picture which it automatically compressed. Simply great value for money. Well done and thank you. |

Valentines heart-shaped Photo Key ring by Digizo.

Digizo has really maximized the image viewing space on this digital photo key ring compared with other models. We think it’s quite a bold move considering it embroaches the core heart shape so much but it works in our opinion. Many other heart shaped digital photo key rings come up against the same problem and always seem to resort to a circular framing around the LCD screen forced by the heart shaped curved sides. Wonder how a heart shaped digital key ring would look with a rectangular LCD dispaly area so your digital images could be displated at there native orientation? They’ve stayed true to form with the three button function suite keeping operation familiar to those who already own a digital photo keyring by Digizo. It would be good to see some bold statements design wise for the actual ‘chain’ apparatus on these guys.

Digizo are at it again with this stylish pink heart shaped digi photo keyring. It’s cushion like exterior is comfortable to carry and it’s three button function keys make it really easy to operat and get you favourite images on display. Screen size could be bigger in our opinion or at least the LCD display shape design seems to hinder optimal viewing for your digital images. At first it seems like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole but after a short while it actually frames your images well and aids at popping the pixels out in front of you. Besides this if you are buying a gift for someone this valentine then who cares about the techy mumble jumble…this will go down a storm!!

I bought this product a few days ago and was delighted to see how fast the delivery was! It worked well and was easy to use. I was happy to see it was compatible with my Vista and it did not carry any viruses. A good easy to use product which would also be a great gift for anyone.

With Valentines day fast approaching we thought it worth while looking at what’s available in photo key rings. The red heart shaped digital photo key ring is a steal at just over £5 making it the ideal gift that says a thousand words without breaking the bank! It’s 8 mb internal memory only holds around 56 photos so it falls short in that department compared to other digital photo key rings but we don’t really think this is why you would buy this photo key ring. It’s more about ‘the thought counts’ and we’re sure this will be well received by any one fortunate to have one bought for them.

Well, I bought it for my girlfriend for her valentine. Turn out she loves it. The thing is really easy to use, upload picture. It is in a really small and good size. It looks really good. Only comment is that the screen doesn’t produce a sharp image that is all. |

Easy to use and can store over 140 pictures. It renames/converts them to .bmp (in my case from .jpg). Disappointed that the picture size is only 1 inch square (not 1.5 inches – I guess they meant diagonally though this is also less than 1.5 inches). Picture quality is impressive for a product of this size and at this price. Software is very basic but easy to use – I transferred over a hundred pictures and was viewing them in minutes. The instructions I received are typical of such nowadays with a great deal ‘lost in translation’ plus they show a menu that does not tally with the viewer’s – I’ve yet to find out how to delete just one picture via the viewer so I have to do it on the computer – no real problem for me. |

Tao Digital Photo Key Ring

We featured this digital photo keyring by Tao mainly for it’s design. The two soft rounded corners are a good contrast against there sharper counterparts and for us balances the digital display nicely. It’s 1.4 inch screen can easily be shadowed by other products of 1.5 inch sizing but the LCD display is more than adequate for carrying and displaying your digital photos on the move. It comes in a nice gift box which is a nice presentation case if your buying for someone else. It’s 8MB internal memory will hold up to 56 images and the supplied USB cable makes connectivity to your PC or MAC a breeze.
We think one aspect about this Tao digital keyring that could have been better is the chain fastening strap. Not that it isn’t functional but with a bit further care and attention at the design stages definitely would have helped this model with aesthetic appeal.
